Game Play and Field Conduct

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU'RE ASKED TO LEAVE DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS OR INFRACTIONS, YOU WILL NEED PREAPPROVAL FROM BOA-S STAFF PRIOR TO RETURNING TO THE FIELD. ADDITIONALLY, APPROVAL TO RETURN IS CONTINGENT, DEPENDING ON THE SEVERITY OF THE INFRACTION(S), AND MAY OR MAY NOT BE GRANTED

SAFETY:

The following Safety Rules are subject to changes at any time. Additionally, these rules will be reviewed by BOA-S Staff at the field prior to game play.
 

**IMPORTANT REMINDER: DON'T FORGET TO BRING WATER AND BUG SPRAY TO THE FIELD WITH YOU**

AGE GROUPS:

• 8 - 10 yrs of age; Parent or Guardian must be within sight at all times, either playing with their minor(s), or on the field as a noncom. While a Parent or Guardian is on the field, they must at minimum wear eye protection. Parent or Guardian must accompany their minor(s) on the field during game play, until the minor(s) AND BOA-S Staff are comfortable that he/she is ready for game play, without a Parent or Guardian out there with them.   
• 12-15 yrs of age; Adult or Guardian (age 18+ yrs of age), must be present to claim responsibility for the minor(s); This may be waived, with consent from the minor(s) Parent, prior to game play. 
• 16+ yrs of age; Players are responsible for understanding and signing the Legal Waiver on sign in sheet. 

EYE PROTECTION:

Proper eye protection must be worn at all times when in any and all areas not designated as “no fire zones.” Proper eye protection is considered to meet the minimum ANSI Z87.1 rating. Full sealing eye protection, without gaps through which a bb may pass, is recommended for the best safety protection.

 **Minors (defined as ANYONE under 18 years old), are required to have full-face, solid/hard shield protection, in addition to their full sealing goggles**

***Full face protection is recommended for all players***

FPS AND SAFETY:

 All rifles and pistols must be chrono'd before the start of game play. BOA-S Staff reserves the right to chrono any/all Player weapon(s), at anytime pregame, during the game, and post game as necessary. BOA-S Staff reserves the right to ban ANY weapon for use on the field, if they feel it is not safe for game play. 

MAX AMMO ALLOWED IS 0.30 gram BB's

Spot checking is done every weekend at BOA-S discretion
 

The following is a list of rules for Field Engagement:

• AEG's (Automatic Electric Guns) - Field max FPS (Feet Per Second) is 360 with 0.25g bb's.
• MED (Minimum Engagement Distance) is ZERO feet for regular and seasoned players.
• All Kids under 12y/o will have 10ft MED. 
• Players will chrono any and all rifles & pistols with a 0.25g bb, AT THE FIELD, if they wish to use them in game play.

    ***HPA's - MUST BE CLEARED BY BOA-S STAFF PRIOR TO USE ON THE  FIELD***

• HPA's (High Pressure Air Guns) - Field max is 1 joule, with 0.30g bb's.
• ​HPA's will be spot checked by BOA-S Staff anytime they decide there is a need to do so; This will be done per their discretion.

   ***ANY PLAYER ON THE FIELD WITH AN HPA, THAT IS FOUND TO BE SHOOTING OVER 1 JOULE AFTER BEING CHRONO'D, WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE FIELD****

CQB VILLAGE:

 Our regular weekend games are tailored towards "Urban Warfare," which requires the use of SEMI ONLY, due to close proximity engagement.

• Full Auto is NOT allowed.
• All weapons must be under 360 FPS with 0.25 bb's.
• Max weight bb's allowed are 0.30g.
• Thunder B's are allowed; Any players using Thunder B's, accept ALL liability for any injury that might arise from their use.
• Grenades must be thrown thru windows or doors, with a 10ft hit radius. Grenades are NOT to be thrown over walls.
• No jumping thru windows; Any damage to buildings as a result of this, will be repaired by person who caused the damage (We have tools to help you in your repair efforts)!!!

 **Mutual hits are to be called, when two people fire at the same time, within 5ft of each other…NO acceptations to this rule…Argue this, and both players will be removed for the rest of that game!!!**

FPS RULES FOR SPECIAL OPERATIONS/WITH FIELD ADMIN APPROVAL ONLY:

***ANY AND ALL SNIPER RIFLES MUST BE PREAPPROVED BY BOA-S STAFF, PRIOR TO USE ON THE FIELD. ADDITIONALLY, APPROVAL IS DETERMINED ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS, AND IS ENITRELY AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF BOA-S STAFF!!!

• Sniper Rifles; Must be bolt action to fit this class.
• Sniper Rifles may be allowed at a higher FPS, IF preapproved by BOA-S Staff. 
• MED references for ALL Sniper Rifles used on the field, are determined at the discretion of BOA-S STAFF ONLY.
• Players using an approved Sniper Rifle on the field, MUST adhere to the Sniper MED, as defined by BOA-S Staff.
